Adam Fetterman continues to dominate the field in House District 81.

In fact, as of the end of 2007, he has raised more than double the funds of all candidates in the seat combined. That includes one Democratic challenger and three GOP challengers for this Democratic-leaning House seat.

Fetterman continues to rack up strong endorsements from the 21st Century Democrats and the Florida Sheriffs.

Even the Port St. Lucie News joined in the fray on January 1, 2008, predicting a Fetterman win:

Martin County Commissioner Michael DiTerlizzi hopes to snap up the District 81 seat abandoned by state Rep. Gayle Harrell, R-Stuart. But DiTerlizzi will fall to St. Lucie County attorney Adam Fetterman.

Become a part of Adam’s winning team today by making a contribution now or volunteering for Adam.

A message from Adam:

We are running a strong campaign and I am so proud of the people who have given so generously to this effort. We have already started our door-to-door efforts and the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. Voters in this district are ready for a change and as our team continues to grow, we know we can bring that change to Tallahassee. Thank you so much for your consideration and, hopefully, your support. –>

DiTerlizzi, Harrell return to public life after losing election bids

Martin County Commissioner Michael DiTerlizzi hopes to snap up the District 81 seat abandoned by State Rep. Gayle Harrell, R-Stuart, as she challenges U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney, D-Palm Beach Gardens. But DiTerlizzi will fall to St. Lucie County attorney Adam Fetterman — a political ally of Democratic kingpin and St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara — while Republican voters decide they prefer Mahoney’s business acumen to Harrell’s penchant for red sneakers.

Adam Fetterman Announces Strong Quarterly Fundraising Results

Adam M. Fetterman, Democratic Candidate for Florida House District 81, filed his quarterly fundraising report yesterday, announcing over $24,000 raised in the first quarter of his campaign.

Fetterman says, “The response to my campaign has been fantastic! The widespread support I have received shows that people from all over recognize the importance of this race and that I am the candidate they believe in. Community leaders, business people, and numerous others stepped up to join my campaign to represent the values we on the Treasure Coast hold so dear. It is a humbling and inspiring experience to have such a successful first quarter, and I believe it is only the beginning of great things to come in this campaign.”

Adam currently serves as General Counsel to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara, where he provides critical assistance to law enforcement as they strive to protect our neighborhoods. Adam also serves as President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County. Adam sees the opportunity to represent our families in the Florida House of Representatives as just one more way that he can give back to our community and serve the public interest.

“We set our initial goal for reaching $20,000 and exceeded it by over 20%”. The campaign filed the report online yesterday, July 4, indicating $24,320 raised to date. After expenditures, the campaign has $23,676.20 on hand. For more information, visit www.votefetterman.com or contact Adam at adam@votefetterman.com

Adam Fetterman Announces His Campaign for District 81 of the Florida House of Representatives

Contact: Adam Fetterman (772) 708-8213
For Immediate Release: Tuesday, April 10, 2007

Port St. Lucie, FL – Public servant and community leader Adam Fetterman will announce his candidacy for the Florida House of Representatives’ 81st District today.

Adam will campaign on promoting innovative industry and providing sustainable growth, safer communities, stronger schools, and affordable health and homeowner’s insurance for the 81st district. Adam is a Democrat currently serving as General Counsel to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and is President-Elect of the St. Lucie County Boys and Girls Club. He is uniquely qualified to effectively represent the interests of communities throughout the Treasure Coast.

“I understand the problems our communities face, and I’m committed to working to solve them. I understand the competing pressures of growth and conservation. I understand the need to create affordable, sustainable communities where economic development is balanced with environmental protection. I understand that our families need affordable homeowners and health insurance and that our schools need to be accountable to our children. And as someone who cares deeply about our community, it would be an honor to fight for a stronger future in the Florida House of Representatives,” Fetterman said.

“So many others have gone to Tallahassee content to follow, following the money, the polls, and their parties. I will represent the Treasure Coast in our state capitol as a leader, an independent thinker with bold ideas to improve our lives. I am ready to serve and I am ready to lead the people of this district.”

Adam Fetterman is a devoted public servant with a long record of service to his community. A graduate of the University of Miami Law School, Fetterman has used his legal expertise to fight for working families and to bring justice for those without a voice. His mainstream values, forward-thinking vision, and remarkable leadership abilities make him an ideal candidate to represent the Treasure Coast. Adam and his wife Mindi reside on the Treasure Coast with their son Noah. –>
